I've had my fair share of inspiration droughts in my lifetime and we all agree they're not the most desired of circumstances to be in, nobody likes them. But, just because the iron is not hot for you to strike does not mean that it will never be again. Maybe you're being asked to plant seeds elsewhere...
I am an absolute creative at heart, my mind concocts mad schemes and plans and my heart feels their pulse and squeals when they come to life. Every phase of your endeavors, every time you swing from one end of the pendulum to other, is a necessary step in your own personal evolution. Acceptance is what makes this process kinder.

The term 'creative block' to me is a funny one as I see people use it more as an excuse, separating themselves from the energy form that is pottery or makeup or knitting when there is nothing you are not, especially creativity. Creativity flows and will always, it's your choice to be receptive and allowing or not.
It's extremely easy to get frustrated and angry at the fact that you feel uninspired and like a fizzy drink that's now room temperature with no cap on, flat. While frustration and anger are better than sadness you really don't have to feel hostile about your situation, a little bit of patience and personal insight can really go a long way. Having a clear vision of what you want and where you want to end up is a marvelous thing and I don't want you to loose sight of that as it's valuable (go hard or go home I say), I just want to remind you that however which way you're going to get there has as much even more value than the end product. As corny as it may sound, nothing beats the roller coaster that's going to take you there.
For me I have my massive dreams that are out of this world that hardly anyone actually knows about. How exactly I'm going to get there? God knows. As of late I'm choosing everyday to let it unfold naturally. Nobody ever had fun pushing against the current, it's fierce and unforgiving at times but letting go and allowing yourself to flow with what comes best and dealing with situations when they arise is much sweeter. Keep in mind that flowers don't race each other to be the first to bloom. They take their time and make sure that they have had enough of everything they need in order to make their grand debuts.
Now, you're in a slump with one thing and it can't seem to break out of it no matter how hard you try and it's causing a ripple effect on everything else in your life. Want to know the best thing you can do? Distract yourself from it, change your course, shake up what you're doing not in hopes that you'll find your lost inspiration for that one thing but because you deserve to have a good time no matter what. Forget about it! If it's not serving you, release it and then when the timing is right your spark will return once again bearing gifts and fruits you didn't even know you planted.
Having new experiences and situations come into your life does not have to change your end goal, choose to rather see it as new wealth in new forms. Being open and accepting to letting whatever must unfold is going to relieve your mind from it's tireless shifts of overthinking and stress. Thoughts hold a power no action ever could so start treating them like that. Every time you desire something you send that vibration out into the Universe and if you keep that channel clear and open the Universe has no choice but to deliver.
Stop looking at what isn't working and focus on what is. I can guarantee you've got a hell of a lot more going for you then you actually realise.
